📌#vetassess#skillsassessment : Priority Processing Update

The #vetassess skills assessments now have a new system for priority processing. If you’re wondering why an applicant might apply for priority processing, here are some key reasons:

🔹 They’ve received an invitation from the Department of Home Affairs or an Australian state/territory government with an expiry date.
🔹 Their visa is expiring within eight weeks, and they can’t secure another visa.
🔹 They’re turning 33, 40, or 45 within eight weeks.
🔹 Their English test result (IELTS or PTE) is expiring within eight weeks.
🔹 Their Partner Skills Assessment or English test result is expiring within eight weeks.

Even applicants without an urgent need can apply for Priority Processing. However, places will be allocated to those with urgent needs first. Any remaining slots will be offered to other applicants in the queue on a first-come-first-served basis.

📌#englishlanguage Changes for Home Affairs Visa Applications

📚 IELTS: The IELTS one-skill retake is now accepted by the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL), making it easier for teachers to achieve the required scores.

🗣️ TOEFL: Starting from July 26, 2023, TOEFL iBT, the previously recognized English language test for Australian visa applications, will be temporarily unavailable for visa purposes. Valid TOEFL iBT scores from tests taken prior to July 26, 2023, will be recognized for relevant visa subclasses to Australia.

📌WA (#westernaustralia ) #StateMigration: 2023-24 SNMP Changes
Recent changes to the State Nominated Migration Program (SNMP) for Western Australia include:

✅ No application fee.
✅ Equal invitation ranking for Interstate and Overseas candidates.
✅ Prioritized invitations for candidates with an occupation in a WA industry sector with critical demand for skilled workers.
✅ Reduced employment requirements for candidates invited through a WA building and construction industry sector occupation.
