Canada Start-Up visa Saga

Canada Start-Up visa Saga Continues..

Well, I understand the capping of 10 applications per Designated Organizations (DO’s), but I’m still not able to understand the priority processing for entrepreneurs whose startup is supported by a business incubator that is a member of Canada’s Tech Network . What’s this new twist now?

➡️How does this help IRCC process applications on priority?
➡️If being a member of Canada’s Tech Network(CTN) adds more credibility, then why process applications from other business incubators?
➡️Now it’s evident that only 10 DBIs (Designated Business Incubators) are on this list at the moment. Does this imply that other business incubators will also try to become members of Canada’s Tech Network?
➡️Why not, as that’s the current way to access priority processing? And to increase the business!
➡️Will these organizations increase their official fees, knowing that they are eligible for priority processing?

Interestingly, all these 10 members of Canada’s Tech Network (CTN) have the same cap, except for the priority processing!

Many unanswered questions and only time will provide clarity, which is an IRCC update, of course.

➡️It’s important to note that MTA (Manitoba Technology Accelerator) is not a member of CTN (Canada’s Tech Network) at the moment. From what I understand, most applications from India were processed through this incubator!

➡️Additionally, it’s interesting to know that TBDC (Toronto Business Development Centre) along with many renowned Business Incubators are also not part of CTN at the moment, except for the below 10.

Please check with your service provider which Business Incubators are processing your application at the moment, to understand whether your application is being given priority or not.

Currently, we are processing applications through DMZ. If you’re interested, please send your resume to priya@thesuccessimmigration.com and you can also send your pitch deck for preliminary evaluation
