Old is gold: Uncovering the value of experience!!

I recently had an insightful conversation with a Canadian-based colleague who shed light on the challenges of rising rents and global inflation, that students are struggling with! In our conversation, he also shared success stories of clients who have seamlessly relocated to Canada under the Canada Start-Up  work permit. Even more interesting is how a work permit dependent holder was able to find a job, and I’m happy to share the details with you.

Experience speaks:

Ageing not only brings physical changes, but also the development of mental abilities, skills and experiences. In the current immigration category, people aged 45 and over often discover the start-up visa route to be particularly rewarding. Given their extensive experience, particularly in the IT sector , it is not surprising that dependents or principal applicants can find employment even in difficult situations. In contrast, it could be challenging for those under the age of 35 who have been granted a PR under the Express Entry programme or for students with work permits due to their limited experience!

Experience is a powerful communicator.

When it comes to Canada Start-Up  work permits, here’s what you need to know:

2️⃣The 3-Year Work Permit
Take advantage of a 3-year work permit that allows you to work for any employer in Canada. Your family members also receive an open work permit, and dependent children are eligible for a ‘study permit”

 3️⃣Educational privileges for your children

Apply for reduced university tuition fees for your dependent children who are under the age of 15, as it can take up to 3 years to obtain Permanent Residency (PR) in this category. Some clients have obtained the PR visa in as little as 3 years, but the official duration to obtain the PR visa is currently 37 months!

4️⃣Overcoming obstacles

There is no ranking system for PR, you do not have to be in the race or in the pool, there are no higher IELTS requirements, no age limit and no specific educational requirements, no IIT/IIM requirements! This category is all about your money and your skills speaking for you. Yes, you heard right!

The minimum investment for a start-up depends on various parameters and the project. To give you an idea, it starts from 50,000 CAD to 60,000 CAD.

To make a long story short:

If you are over 45 years old, looking for a work permit to work , want to explore your entrepreneurial skills or open a branch in Canada, and most importantly are willing to invest at least 50 to 60,000 CAD, please contact us for more information!
